THE JOURNEY AHEAD

As the Architecture and Design Tour Leader in India, you play a central role in Edventure Global’s mission, contributing in the following pivotal ways:

STEER EDVENTURE GLOBAL’S ARCHITECTURE & DESIGN GROUP EXPEDITIONS IN INDIA

• Oversee the seamless execution of each 10 to 15-day group tour, with travelers’ safety, enjoyment, and well-being as paramount
• Follow the Edventure Global itinerary, guiding participants through activities, ensuring punctuality, safety, and satisfaction
• Maintain availability via phone during leisure hours and evenings to address inquiries or emergencies
• Cultivate a warm, secure environment for travelers to connect, actively engaging with them throughout the journey
• Coordinate any additional traveler needs during the tour, including medical visits or added excursions
• Stay attuned to both group dynamics and individual requirements, tending to emotional and physical aspects
• Provide daily progress updates to our team

BE AN ON-THE-GROUND RESOURCE FOR EDVENTURE GLOBAL TEAM AND PARTNERS

• Foster existing relationships with Edventure Global’s partners, while also cultivating new connections
• Act as a liaison for established partners, conveying their needs to headquarters
• Assist headquarters in comprehending the on-ground dynamics of India’s architecture and design realm

You’re the perfect candidate if:

• You are a resident of India. This is an essential criterion; kindly confirm your current residency in India when applying.
• You harbor a genuine passion for travel, architecture, and design, and are enthusiastic about sharing your insights and experiences with fellow Edventure Global travelers.
• The ethos of Edventure Global’s brand deeply resonates with you, and you’re eager to introduce our explorers to the richness of India’s architectural and design culture.
• You’re of legal age and possess valid work authorization in India. As a freelance contractor, you’ll be responsible for income reporting and tax obligations.
• You’re seeking a substantial role, not just a short-lived endeavor. With the right alignment, you’re prepared to commit to a minimum of 2 years freelancing with Edventure Global.
• Your reputation for reliability and responsibility is well-established.
• You can lead a total of three x 15-day trips in 2024. Typically, these will be scheduled quarterly, with specific dates yet to be confirmed. The first trip will serve as training, co-led with our core lead. By 2025, you could potentially lead around 4-5 trips.
• Communication and relationship-building are second nature to you. While extroversion is not a prerequisite, you should relish forming connections and driving group conversations.
• Your photography skills allow you to capture captivating visuals and create engaging posts and blogs before, during, and after the tour.
• You’re a team player, adept at collaborating with Edventure Global’s global team, often remotely.
• You’re fueled by a passion for learning, growth, and collaboration.
• You remain composed under pressure.
• You value the significance of our partnerships, be it with travelers or locals, and treat them with respect and consideration.
• You’re proficient in written and spoken English, as well as other native Indian languages.
• Bonus: You possess first-aid or emergency response training, or hold formal tour guide experience or licenses.

*Your commitment is pivotal given the nature of our work. Once you confirm your participation, you must be available for the entire trip. Any last-minute cancellations will result in immediate termination. Failure to be present for the entire trip will lead to non-payment.

MONETARY REWARDS

• INR 35,000 for the training trip, co-led with a core Edventure Global member.
• INR 75,000 for each successfully completed group trip following your training.
• You’re eligible for an INR 25,000 bonus upon achieving a 10 NPS for each tour you lead.

For every 10 group trips you lead for Edventure Global, you earn a complimentary tour to any of our other captivating destinations.

• Oversee the smooth execution of each 10 to 15-day group tour, prioritizing the well-being, security, and enjoyment of travelers
• Follow the Edventure Global itinerary, guiding participants through activities, ensuring timeliness, safety, and satisfaction
• Remain accessible via phone during leisure hours and evenings to address queries or emergencies
• Foster a friendly, secure environment for travelers to bond, actively engaging with them throughout the journey
• Coordinate any additional requirements of travelers during the trip, including medical visits or tour enhancements
• Stay attuned to both group dynamics and individual needs, addressing emotional and physical requirements
• Provide daily updates on the group’s progress to our team

BE A GROUND RESOURCE FOR EDVENTURE GLOBAL’S TEAM AND PARTNERS

• Nurture existing relationships with Edventure Global’s partners, while also forging new connections
• Serve as a conduit for existing partners, conveying their needs to headquarters

• You possess an unabashed love for travel, Indian textiles, and crafts, and are thrilled to share your country and experiences with fellow Edventure Global travelers.
• The ethos of Edventure Global’s brand resonates with you, and you’re eager to introduce our explorers to India’s rich culture.
• You are of legal age and possess valid work authorization in India. You’re being engaged as a freelance contractor, responsible for income reporting and tax obligations.
• You’re in search of a sustained role, not just a fleeting opportunity. Given the right alignment, you’re ready to commit to a minimum of 2 years freelancing with Edventure Global.
• Your reliability and responsibility are well-known to those around you.
• You can lead a total of three 15-day trips in 2024. Generally, these will be conducted on a quarterly basis, with specific dates yet to be determined. The first trip serves as training, co-led with our core lead. By 2025, you could anticipate leading around 4-5 trips.
• Communication and relationship-building are your forte. While you need not be an extrovert, you should relish forming connections and driving group dialogues.
• Photography is in your skill set, allowing you to capture captivating visuals and create engaging posts and blogs pre, during, and post-tour.
• You’re a team player, well-equipped to collaborate with Edventure Global’s global team, often remotely.
• You are fueled by a zest for learning, growth, and collaboration.
• You maintain composure under pressure.
• You appreciate the significance of our partnerships, be they with travelers or locals, treating them with reverence and care.
• You’re proficient in written and spoken English, as well as other native Indian languages.
• Bonus: You possess first-aid or emergency response training or hold formal tour guide experience or licenses.

COMPENSATION

• AUD $750 for your training trip with a Edventure Global’s core lead member.
• AUD $1,500 per successfully completed group trip after your training tour.

Bonus of 500 on scoring a10 NPS for each tour.
